Spirituality
As Sisters of St. John of God, we are called to develop a personal relationship with God and to express this through our relationships with one another, the people with whom we work and the whole of creation.
We nurture this relationship with God through personal and community prayer, contemplation, Eucharist and attentiveness to our own faith journey.
We support each other through friendship, prayer and sharing a common vision. Wherever we are in the world we pray daily for the wider St. John of God family of colleagues, associates, benefactors and those to whom we minister.
In working with people and in turn being enriched by them, we seek to express the values and ideals which Jesus proclaimed and lived during his life. Of particular importance to us are the values of:
